STEP ONE: PREP
After preparing your cooking station, wash and dry all your produce carefully. Next, thinly slice the green onions, mince the garlic, and finally chop the chili and remove the seeds.
STEP TWO: COOK CHICKEN
Season the raw chicken strips with the Chinese five spice blend, salt, and pepper. Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add both oil and chicken. Cook for about 5-6 minutes, until your chicken is fully-cooked and golden-brown. Once cooked, move the chicken to a plate and cover.
STEP 3: COOK VEGGIES
Add some more oil to your pan and add red onion, garlic, and broccoli. Cook and stir occasionally for about 4-5 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender and crisp.
STEP FOUR: COOK NOODLES
Add noodles and 2/3 cup of water to the veggies. Stir often and cook for about 1-2 minutes, or until the noodles are fully warmed. Then, add the chicken and stir-fry sauce.
STEP FIVE: FINISH AND SERVE
Serve onto four plates or portion using plastic or glass containers to enjoy throughout the week. Keep in mind proper portion sizes! Sprinkle green onions and chili for the finishing touches.
Enjoy!
